Round steel
Round steel includes bars with circular cross-sections produced by hot rolling, cold drawing, or peeling. Hot-rolled bars to EN 10060 serve as the fundamental semi-finished product for mechanical engineering — shafts, pins, dowels, and forged parts. Cold-drawn bars offer tighter dimensional tolerances and smoother surfaces, ideal for piston rods, guide bars, and components requiring minimal machining. Peeled bars feature the highest dimensional accuracy and surface quality, making them the preferred choice for hydraulic piston rods and precision shaft applications. We supply all three variants in a wide range of diameters and structural steel grades.
